Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Joba (جوبا) account — whether you use the app as a customer or as a service provider — and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion
1. In the app (fastest). Open the Joba app → go to the Account tab → choose Delete account → confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out of the app.
2. By email. Send a request to azizal7seny@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account", from — or mentioning — the phone number or email address registered to your account, so we can verify it is yours.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your account (the sign-in identity itself);
- your profile (name, phone number, email);
- your provider listing, if you had one (categories, service area, availability, statistics);
- your saved providers;
- your push notification tokens.
What is kept, and why
- Contact requests already exchanged with other users may be retained in anonymized form — no longer linked to your name or phone number — because they also belong to the other party's history and power aggregate statistics.
- Records we are required to keep for legal obligations (for example, moderation and safety records) are retained, anonymized where possible.
- Analytics events never contained your name or phone number and follow the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
Timeframe
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days of the request.
